A True Tropical Paradise

What is your definition of a tropical paradise? Is it getting a tan by the beach while drinking coconut water, or is it splashing yourself and swimming in the ocean? Regardless of how you define it, beaches in Vietnam have got you covered.

The coastal beaches of Vietnam are part of the South China Sea and rest assured, prepare some sunscreen because you’re going to need it. Still pondering whether you should partake in an internship in Vietnam? Look no further. We have the answer to why an internship in Vietnam this summer is the best thing for you.

Ha Long Bay

Located in Hanoi, Ha Long Bay is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. So, why is it worth it to check out Ha Long Bay? First of all, it’s very easy to get to Ha Long Bay. With a travel time of only four hours, by bus, Ha Long Bay consists of many beautiful beaches that are perfect for a day trip to relax and enjoy the beach, with the most elegant being Bai Chay.

Other worldly and something that you’d see as a google wallpaper, be sure to visit Bai Chay beach when you get the chance to make a trip to Ha Long Bay. If you’d like to further explore the wonders of this bay, the next destination is Ti Top Island. Located, literally, in the center of Ha Long Bay, you will have to take a boat to visit this island (which also includes its own beach).

Con Dao

Commonly known as one island, Con Dao is actually an archipelago. A little history about this island; back when France colonized Vietnam, this island was actually a French Prison! Freight not, Con Dao is now known for its grand and natural coral reefs, extremely diversified marine life, and beautiful white sandy beaches. Con Dao is also home to beautiful resorts, the most notable one being the Six Senses Con Dao. Find out more information on the Six Senses Con Dao here!

The resort actually allows their residents to visit Dat Doc beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. For nature lovers and explorers, be sure to venture beyond the main island to the beaches of Bay Canh islands. What’s there? You’ll be able to see the annual releasing of baby sea turtles!

Phu Quoc

Phu Quoc is actually located in the Gulf of Thailand, a neighboring country of Vietnam. Phu Quoc is the largest island and also the most, “westernized”. Home to one of the most scenic and glorious jungles & mountains, you can easily trek in Phu Quoc’s national park and immerse yourself into the natural elements of Vietnam.

One of the more recognized and popular beaches are Khem Beach and Sao Beach. Both Khem beach (one of the best beaches in the world) and Sao Beach offer visitors the one of the most beautiful sunset views, movie-like palm trees, and white sandy beaches.

Da Nang

Da Nang has to be on everyone’s bucket list when visiting Vietnam. An internship in Vietnam will give you ample time to visit the city of Da Nang. It has everything for everyone. Da Nang is Vietnam’s third largest city. Anyone here a fan of water sports? My Khe Beach in Da Nang has always been famous and well known for large waves, which makes it ideal for surfers.

Other common activities include snorkeling or even jet skiing. Fancy a private escape to the outreaches of Da Nang? Rent a motorbike and ride out to Tien Sa Beach, an untouched paradise. Da Nang really is for everyone with other attractions available, such as, national parks or even Son Doong, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world's largest cave.

Nha Trang

Very popular amongst tourists around the world, Nha Trang is best described as the classic, “beautiful beach wallpaper.” Nha trang consists of many hidden gems and untouched islands that will allow you to roam around and explore. The city’s main attraction is Nha Trang Beach, which has an iconic view of the bay and is actually super packed during peak hours.

If you’re looking for more secluded beaches that are hidden from the common eye, be sure to check out clustered islands in the same area such as, Hon Lon or Hon Tre (this island actually houses the famous resort, Vin Pearl).
