Visa information

General Eligibility Requirements

  • Age: Must be between 18 to 30 years old, or 18 to 35 for certain nationalities.
  • Citizenship: Must hold a valid passport from an eligible country.

Work Holiday Visa

  • Eligible Countries: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, UK, USA, and more.
  • Duration: Allows you to travel and work in New Zealand for 12 months, or 23 months for US and Canadian citizens.
  • Medical Certificate: Required for a 23-month stay under the Work Holiday Visa.

Student and Trainee Work Visa

  • Eligibility: Available to students whose work experience is related to their studies or training.
  • Support: Must be supported by your educational provider and have a written job offer from a New Zealand employer.
